Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 21 January 1986. Anderson describes his early life and religious experiences in Charlotte, North Carolina. He talks of his conversion to the Mormon Church, its impact on his life, and of the concerns of other black Mormons.
